How much spending money do we need to take for a holiday to Rhodes?

My husband and I are going to the Greek Island of Rhodes and havent got a clue as to how much spending money we need to take! The price we paid includes transfers and accommodation with full meals provided, although we may still choose to eat elsewhere. We also need spending money for sight-seeing & maybe some shopping etc. We dont plan to hire a car there. From your experiences, how much do u think we will need to take? I forgot to say, we are staying there for 6 days

1. Hmm... Difficult question... I'd say about 300 euro. Here's a small example: ice coffee (main street) - 3.9, castle entrance - 6.0. You should think about the amount of money you want to spend daily and just multiply it by 6. But probably you won't be spending too much on the 1st and the last day...
2. u have covered basics ,,,500 euro is more than enough,,i dont think u will spend even half of it,,,but extra is always fine,,
3. Me and my wife are going to rhodes next saturday and we are staying all inclusive . But because of some of the nice tavernas and day trips (book at the harbour lot cheaper than rep)we are going to take about 300 euros just to cover any extras good idea is to take a credit card just incase you need a bit more we always get one for our holiday with 0 percent interest then pay it straight off when we get back.
4. Take 1000 with you, in case of emergency(i wish never needed)...But just for yourself to be sure... Also avoid expemsive places (for food)such as old town or Lindos... As i am from here, i know how it is...

6. I have just come back from Rhodes - Flairaki with one of my friends. We stayed self catering for 7 night and spent 1400 euros between us. Mind you we did do alot of drinking!!!! Have a great holiday!
