- Go to an Animal Shelter. They have puppies. Yahoo Answers doesn't have puppies.
- Go on Petfinder.com, you will find lots of puppies who need loving homes there.
- Adopt a puppy from a local shelter. Try www.petfinder.com to find somewhere in your area. I assume though that if the puppy must be free that you can afford to care for it properly? Food, vaccinations and emergency vet treatment can get very expensive.
- Are you asking for a free puppy or trying to give away one? If trying to get a puppy please rescue one from a shelter.
- There is no such thing as a free puppy. They cost $$$ for shots and spay/neutering. Go to the local shelter. They do charge an adoption fee that seems hefty, but they usually are already neutered or spayed with shots saving you oodles for that first year.
- consider adopting thru shelter or rescue, most of the vetwork will already be done www.petfinder.com If you cannot afford an adoption fee, you do not need a puppy, because a free puppy is not really free... they need shots, spayed/neutered, microchip, heartworm test, dewormed, HW preventative, flea preventative.. etc exam fee at vet is $30-35 shots cost anywhere from $15-30 each.. puppies need about 3 sets of shots, 2-3 weeks apart rabies shot $5-15 microchip $35-50 registering microchip $15 heartworm test $15-30 worming $5-30 spay/neuter $65-100 and up (depending on size, age, your area, and if you find a low cost clinic or not) HW preventative costs $3-5 a month.. its needed year-round. Flea preventative $10-15 a month.. needed during the warm months
- petfinder.com or check out the local classified ads in papers or online
- As anyone always says, a puppy is never free. The best place to get one though is your local Animal Shelter. You may be paying something but you are getting the shots, which it has to have, you are getting an animal that has had it's temperament watched and gauged, you are getting an animal that in badly in need of a permanent and loveing home, you are getting a lifetime of love in return. Many of the shelters already have the animal fixed so you don't have to worry about getting it done yourself. Just save up some money and go pick yourself one out. Most have a variety to to choose from. Have fun looking and good luck.
- What kinda pups r they?
- the only way that you are going to find a free puppy is to get it from a rescue.
- By all means, adopt a pup from one of your local animal shelters. You can find them in all kinds, even purebreds, and if you're looking for a certain breed or type, for example, a poodle, contact them. You'll be the first on the list if one comes in. Also, the very reasonable adoption fee often goes toward spaying or neutering your pet. Plus, you have the satisfaction of knowing you saved a life.
